THAT Introduces Low-Voltage Analog Engine
Milford , MA – THAT Corporation broadens its range of audio Analog Engine® ICs with the introduction of the THAT 4311, a single-chip solution for dynamics control of audio signals. Designed for operation down to +5VDC, the 4311S (like its popular cousin, the THAT 4301) includes a high-performance VCA, RMS-level sensor and three opamps.
The THAT 4311 was originally intended for use as a noise reduction system in wireless microphone systems and in-ear monitors, and it outperforms other IC solutions when implemented in those products. But the 4311 is also well suited for use in battery-powered mixers, compressor/limiters, ENG devices, and other portable audio products.
Priced at $3.30 in 10k quantities and packaged in a 20 pin SMD, the THAT 4311 is economical in price and real estate. For data sheets and additional information follow this link to the 4311 web page or contact us via e-mail at sales@thatcorp.com
