THAT and Twilight Technology Form Alliance
Milford, MA and Brea, CA, USA – December 3, 2007 – THAT Corporation and Twilight Technology announced a new licensing agreement which authorizes Twilight to utilize THAT’s portfolio of high-performance, analog integrated circuit (wafer) dice. Twilight will repackage THAT’s die to produce ruggidized plastic and high-reliability hermetic components for the medical, aerospace, defense, and heavy industrial marketplaces.
“Since the founding of THAT Corporation nearly eighteen years ago, our primary target customer has typically been the professional audio equipment manufacturer”, explained THAT’s President, Les Tyler. “With Twilight’s assistance, we hope to be able to break into new markets, and are looking forward to forming a solid foundation from which both companies can grow.” Randy Greene, Twilight Technology’s President and CEO added, “Twilight is pleased that THAT Corporation has partnered with us in this business endeavor. It’s a relationship that we believe will be a success for both companies.” Jack Forthun, Twilight’s Vice-President of Engineering noted, “We were impressed with THAT Corporation’s product performance capabilities over extreme operation temperature range applications. THAT manufactures its products using a “dielectric isolation” fabrication process which provides better isolation between individual transistors and faster speeds.” Twilight Technology’s first product introduction will be a family of isolated, low noise, quad-matched transistor arrays which is expected to be available in late 2007. Twilight will initially focus on THAT’s 300 Series Transistor Array die, which are high-speed / low noise with first-rate parameter matching between transistors. About Twilight Technology, Inc.
