Blackmer® Voltage Controlled Amplifiers

Our industry standard VCAs are the direct descendants of the original integrated circuit VCA created by David Blackmer at dbx, Inc. THAT Corporation was founded by senior managers and engineers from dbx who have advanced VCA technology with new generations of these essential devices.

Analog Engines®

Our single-chip Analog Engines combine in one IC all the active circuitry needed to construct a wide range of audio dynamics processors. They include a high-performance, exponentially controlled Blackmer® VCA and a log-responding rms-level sensor. The THAT4320 includes three general-purpose opamps allowing more complex signal processing.
