Low Noise Preamplifiers

THAT Digital Mic Preamp Chip SetTHAT low noise preamplifiers are high performance current-feedback instrumentation amplifiers designed for low source-impedance preamp and bus summing applications. The ICs are available in a variety of packages and pin configurations, making some models pin compatible with the Analog Devices and the Texas Instruments devices. The parts are designed from the ground up in THAT’s complementary dielectric isolation process and include on-chip laser-trimmed Si-Chrome thin film resistor.

In microphone preamplifier applications THAT ICs improve on previous integrated designs by offering lower noise at low gains, wider bandwidth, higher slew rate, lower distortion, and lower supply current. Additionally we offer programmable controllers which when paired with our 1580 or 1583 preamplifier enables digitally controlled microphone preamplifiers with unprecedented performance.

  Balanced Line Receivers

THAT 1203 InGenius Line ReceiverTHAT Corporation offers a family of self-contained differential amplifiers preconfigured for gains of 0, ±3, and ±6dB, intended primarily for use as audio balanced line receivers. These parts offer great audio performance with decent common-mode rejection, at a price that makes them an attractive, space-saving alternative to conventional op-amps. These ICs live up to THAT's usual high performance standards with low THD, wide bandwidth and a high slew rate. THAT line receivers are available in RoHS-compliant packages. The family features versions that are pin-compatible with similar offerings from TI and Analog Devices, but includes a -3dB version that is unique. This version offers the best tradeoff between noise and headroom for most pro audio applications.
